iQub MCP
This is the Model Context Protocol server for iQub. Connect it to Claude, ChatGPT, or another MCP client and sign in with your iQub account. No API key is pasted anywhere: the client opens the iQub Portal in your browser, you sign in and approve what the agent may do, and the connection holds a short-lived grant you can revoke from the Portal.
Connection URL
https://mcp.dev.iqub.io/mcp
Choose the connection's purpose and, for Customer access, live or sandbox mode during consent. Each connection keeps that approved authority. Changing it requires a new connection.
If you connected to iQub before, remove that connection and add this URL again: earlier grants were revoked and are not carried over.
Claude
- In Claude on the web or desktop, open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector. Paste the connection URL above.
- In Claude Code, run
claude mcp add --transport http iqub https://mcp.dev.iqub.io/mcp. - When Claude asks you to connect, sign in to iQub and approve the connection.
ChatGPT
- Open Settings → Apps & Connectors. Under Advanced, turn on Developer mode, then choose Create.
- Paste the connection URL above and keep OAuth as the authentication.
- Sign in to iQub and approve the connection.
Menu labels differ slightly between releases of each client. The connection URL and the OAuth sign-in are what stay the same.
Signing in
Sign-in happens on app.dev.iqub.io, the iQub Portal. The consent screen names the client that is asking, its purpose, environment and Customer mode, and exactly which permissions it receives.
Revoke a connection at any time under Connected agents in the Portal: live connections or sandbox connections.
Agents without a browser
An agent that only has your email address registers through the open auth.md protocol and asks you to confirm a short code on the Portal. The recipe is at /auth.md.
